Does anyone have any horror stories about updating to Service Pack 2 ?

Hopefully my final update on this, re above I did find the post that referred to adding a line to boot.ini files but luckily this wasn't necessary. A simple uninstall and re-installing of bootskin appears to have done the trick and now all is as it should be.
